hello, my name is Mercury or Helix (they/them pronouns)!
i'm a 2000s baby with an obsession with pokemon, minecraft, artificial life games, vocal synths, right-to-repair and 90s-00s technology/nostalgia.i hold a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Printmaking, but i am primarily a digital illustrator with an interest in modern/performance art. i find great joy in all forms of art, and i truly believe there is no wrong way to create!it's not 2014 anymore so i'm not going to give you a full list of my diagnoses, but i do find it important to be up front with some of them.i'm a chronically fatigued autistic-ADHD DID system (see my alters here!), which basically means be patient with me, my energy and memory are extremely volatile. i am also reclusive by nature, so please don't take it personally if i don't respond to casual chats.Boundaries
- please don't call me "plural" in regards to my DID. i prefer "system" or "person w/ DID" but literally anything else is better.
- while my personal art discusses my multiplicity, trauma and other illnesses, i am not going to give you the full story no matter how nicely you ask.
- related to the above: i am not a medical provider, take anything i say with a grain of salt and for the love of god don't vent at me (w/o consent ofc)

i'm a digital illustrator with a passion for character creation! i find the fixed price system difficult, so instead i work hourly at $20 USD/hr. if you require a fixed price, please refer to the table at the bottom.my programs of choice are Clip Studio Paint, Krita (both w/ Wacom One) and Procreate (iPad w/ Apple Pencil)!if you're interested in a commission, please e-mail me at helix DOT art AT pm DOT me or DM me (NO ASKS) on Tumblr for alternative communication methods. examples of my work can be found on my Ko-fi and my Tumblr!since that's pretty straightforward, here's the fine print:
- By requesting a commission from me, you agree to the terms written here. I hold the right to decline any commission for any reason.
- My artwork is for personal use ONLY. You are free to use it wherever you like as long as you credit me (link to this carrd or any social). For other uses, please reach out to me for clarification.
- Do not use my artwork for NFTs, AI training or any other web3 junk.
- I will not draw hateful content. I may make some morally gray work but I refuse to bring actual harm to people.
- Payment is required before you will be sent an unwatermarked/high quality version of your commission.
- I accept payments via Ko-fi, Paypal, and Cashapp (where available). If you need to split up your payments for financial reasons, please let me know sooner rather than later. Select commissions are eligible for alternative methods of payment (eg: TF2 loadouts can be paid with keys, rate is 12.5 keys/hr).
- I cannot give refunds (unless it is extremely dire), and by paying me for my services you agree to not issue a charge-back.
- All finished products will be sent over e-mail to prevent quality loss. These will all come from the contact address specified earlier. Please be ready to supply a valid e-mail address, or discuss an alternative with me during the creation process.
